French Creek Country Retreat is only minutes away from Cross Lake Provincial Park, Forfar Recreation Park and Long Island Lake Municipal Park for those who wish to fish or those who seek to do some avid waterskiing or boating.

Located in the town of Fawcett just a 5 minute drive west is our country store with bakery & post office, Mo'z Bar & Pub (she has great evening entertainment and weekend events), library, PACO AG Society, Arena & Community hall & Church, 2 playgrounds one at the sports grounds across from Mo'z and one at the school with a huge grass play area, Fawcett Fire Department, Fawcett Vet Clinic. Just outside of town is Fawcett Green House & the Fawcett Husky Gas Bar & Restaurant.

Located in the town of Jarvie just a 10 minute drive south is our general store & post office, Jarvie Fire Department, Pembina Gas Company, & Church Jarvie curling rink & hall and playground.

Located in the town of Flatbush just a 20 minutes drive north is our local bakery, store, gas, liquor & Flatbush Fire Hall. As well is our good friends Ted and Lois Simpson's, River Valley 9 Hole Flatbush Golf Course.

French Creek RV, Fawcett AlbertaWe are Centrally located in a quadrant encompassing Barrhead, Westlock, Athabasca and Slave Lake located on HWY 44 using Westlock as the central point for driving directions. 50 km North of Westlock drive North on HWY 44  1.5 km past Fawcett Vet Clinic turn left towards Hidden Valley Golf Course on Range Road 12 towards the golf course crossing the rail road tracks. The 1st turn to the right before the golf course is French Creek Country Rv.
